Final Preparation Steps (Post-Beta Edits)

These steps apply once all beta-review edits are approved by Paula and prepare the module for final LMS publishing.

1. Optimize File Size

  • Delete unused master slides
  • Remove unused feedback masters
  • Clean out any redundant assets or layouts

2. Configure Player Settings

  • Menu navigation: Restricted
  • Final assessment: Draw questions randomly
    • Specify the number of questions (e.g., 10)

3. Update Resources

  1. Delete the old program PDF from the Storyline Resources tab
  2. Attach the new PDF (slides + script)
    • Name format: “slides and script: [Program Name]
  3. Position the new PDF as the top item in the Resources list

4. Add Required Template Slides

  • Slide 51 (Acknowledgement) → Insert as first slide
  • Post-Final Exam Intro slide → Insert immediately after the Final Exam intro

These are template slides and typically require no additional programming

5. Manage Menu Structure

  1. Remove from the menu:
    • Newly added Acknowledgement slide
    • Any “Act with Integrity” slides
    • Help slide, Glossary
    • All scenes except main content & final assessment
  2. Clean up scene names:
    • Delete any leftover scene titles (except the first scene)
    • Ensure remaining scenes begin with slide numbers in sequence
  3. Verify order carefully matches the intended flow

Complete these steps to ensure a lean, properly configured module ready for LMS deployment
